Vancouver Internships specializes in the development and management of internship placements services. We offer four programs - each designed for a different market segment. Our programs are school-focused and are flexible and comprehensive enough to meet the needs of students in virtually any field of studies.
VI can operate on short lead times and provides both comprehensive and ad hoc placement services. Please see below to find out how we can work with you.
Vancouver Internships provides internship placement services for exchange students at 2 universities in British Columbia. We are open to expanding these programs to other programs and other public universities and colleges.
Internships are unpaid, they can run for a minimum of 4 weeks - with the precise length determined by your academic staff. Vancouver Internships ensures that all students complete proper resumes, we prepare them for interviews and we arrange interviews for them well in advance of the end of their study component. We have a 100% success rate in internship placement, and have done placements for university students in business management, IT, engineering, finance, law, accounting, and more.

Vancouver Internships offers four programs to ESL schools:
- Student Internship: unpaid professional placements in dozens of different fields.
- Career Development Internship: stipend-paid internships for mature professionals.
- Casual Work Experience [Resort and City Placement Options]: paid work experience terms in entry level positions at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and cafes.
- Combined Placement Program: Mixed programs combining a Student Internship Placement, and a part-time Casual Work placement.
In order to protect our partners' advantage in the marketplace, we limit our stipend paid and work experience programs to 4 schools only. Currently that quota of schools has been filled.
However, we are happy to accept schools on a waiting list, and or to consider new schools for unpaid internship placements. Schools looking to partner with Vancouver Internships must be Languages Canada accredited, and have a diverse, year-round student body of at least 100.

Vancouver Internships is most interested in hearing from work and travel agencies servicing The United States, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
Citizens of these nations are able to complete internships in Canada using SWAP/BUNAC or International Exchange Canada (IEC) visas. Our firm offers internships tailored to meet the requirements of these visas - including pre-placement before your client arrives in Canada, and delivery of formal internship offers for visa and university approval.
