Intern in four different fields
Career Development Internships are open to final semester students, recent graduates and young professionals. Intern in hospitality management, engineering, information technology, and office administration.
This is our most requested program, and it also has our most stringent standards for prospective interns. If you're accepted into this program, you will be placed in a stipend-paid internship in the field of your choice. You'll earn a small sum which will help you defer some of the costs for your 4-month to 6-month internship period.

This program costs $1,500 (Canadian) and includes: internship placement, resume re-write, interview preparation, 1 week's initial accommodation in Vancouver, orientation, and ongoing monitoring and support throughout your placement. Local students should contact us directly to learn about prices without accommodation and documents support.

Hospitality Management
If you're a recent graduate of a hotel management program or a culinary school, then this internship is designed for you. There are two types of placement available: hotel rotation and sous chef/chef de partie. Hotel rotation internships will see you placed with a hotel in Western Canada. You will begin in the front office and rotate through different departments of your hotel, from food and beverage to housekeeping, to guest services. You'll have a chance to learn about at least three different hotel departments and build experience for your future career and complete college practicum requirements. Chef internships will see you placed under supervision at a small to medium-sized restaurant in Western Canada. Depending on the restaurant size, you will have the chance to work as a sous chef or chef de partie. Check the FAQs for more information.
Engineering
Intern in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering. All placements are in the city of Vancouver. If you are accepted into this program, you will be placed into a supervised position at an established small to medium-sized firm in your field. You will have the opportunity to develop your own project as well as assist with day to day company business. Check the FAQs for more information.
Information Technology
Program Features
The Career Development Program costs $1,500 and includes:
- 4-6 month placement
- Stipend paid ($200 - $350 per week)
- Work in one of 4 different fields
- Includes: 1 week's accommodation, orientation session, guaranteed placement
Intern in web applications development, systems/network administration, software engineering, or quality assurance. If your skills are up to par, your placement will be at any of a hundred established and innovative Vancouver-area companies. You'll be placed with a team of developers or administrators. You'll learn, contribute, and have the chance to work on an independent project. Check the FAQs for more information.
Office Administration
Designed for students majoring in the social sciences. Office administration is our broadest field. While it does trend heavily toward marketing, placements are also available with international trading firms, insurance agencies, cosmetics companies, mining companies and many more. Students will assist with general office administration duties such as filing, and reception, and will also work on a company specific project. Check the FAQs for more information.
